Biography
Dr. Kinda Khalaf received her B.S. (SummaCumLaude/Distinction) and M.S. (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University. Her Ph.D. (OSU) is in Biomechanics and Dynamic movement modeling/control. Dr. Khalaf has held faculty appointments in Engineering and Medicine at several prestigious institutes including the University of Miami and the American University of Beirut, and currently serves as associate chair of Biomedical Engineering at Khalifa University in AbuDhabi. She has numerous publications in the areas of Biomechanics, movement modeling/control and deficits associated disease. Dr. Khalaf is on the list of International WhoIsWho of Professionals. She has been awarded various honors including the National Merit Scholar. She is a member of several professional organizations and sits on the editorial board of respected journals in her field.
